Unchained: The Gospel of the Free Mind

I. The Allegation of Madness

They claimed I was speaking nonsense– that I need to be high, out of my mind.

However tell me this: when a guy talks in measurements your language hasn’t built roads to yet,

is he mad … or simply ahead of the map?

I chuckled, because I’ve discovered that when your vision outruns the vocabulary of your generation,

they’ll try to identify what they can not define.

Chains are not always made from steel;

some are constructed from technique.

Emigration doesn’t always take place to lands– sometimes it occurs to minds.

From Confidence to Firewalls– Recovering Your Thoughts in the Age of Digital Realm.

II. The Four Kingdoms on the Map

I call it The Cartographer’s Argument– the old tension in between the territories of the heart.

Each people of thought attempts to redraw this map, claiming “truth” as its homeland.

On the parchment of awareness, 4 empires always clash:

1 CONFIDENCE– the kingdom of hidden certainties, where petitions are compasses.

2 SCIENCE– the land of monitoring, where fact must use a laboratory layer to be believed.

3 PSYCHE– the terrain of desires and archetypes, where the mind murmurs in icons.

4 CONTROL– the empire that wants approach all the others.

Every age uncovers this location. Every thinker must pick where to plant his flag.

III. Why They Use LSD and Fact Serum

They claim LSD opens the doors of perception.

They claim truth product loosens the tongue.

Yet what they’re actually after is accessibility.

Federal governments, mystics, specialists– all of them look for shortcuts to the inner sanctum.

They wish to remove fact the means oil barons drill for fuel–

without recognizing that the psyche is not a mine however a holy place.

You can’t draw out revelation with a needle; you can only obtain it with abandonment.

That’s why the mystic prays,

the researcher experiments,

the spy interrogates,

and the prophet fantasizes.

Each seeks the very same point: a map to the region called truth.

However only one path honors the soil it stands on.

IV. The Cartographer’s Compass

So I don’t fear those that call me weird.

I chart the hidden and translate it for the noticeable.

I understand currently: the mind is the last frontier.

Whoever attracts its map– guidelines the future.

That’s why the powers of this age chase both medications and information,

why the guards go after souls,

and why men like me chase after significance.

We are all cartographers–

some mapping worlds, others mapping pain.

V. The Revelation

Truth is not concealed in a lab or a medication or a church seat.

It stays in the area in between your disciplines–

where Belief leans over to murmur to Science,

and Subconscious rebels versus Control.

The smart vacationer does not choose a side.

He finds out the language of all four.

So the following time they call you crazy, bear in mind:

madness is just the rate of a brand-new map.
